Toast for the winner

Good evening Mr Area Director Mr Toastmaster Fellow toastmasters and most welcomed guests.

I am Peter and I am current VPE in Russian English Speakers. I want to propose a toast to a special moment in someones life that happened last Friday.

I know Elena since she became member of our club. She is very positive person, social, and she is doing things little bit own way. She started her own bussiness and I really admire when people find courage to stand against world and stand on own feet. I remember her when she came with Freddy Daniels past district governor her friend to have a speech. I thought Freddy is really funny guy.

Someone once said that you are average of 5 people that you spent most time with. And seems she spent a lot of time with Freddy and other funny people because she won Divisin contest Friday. What a thing! We have first time in history of Russian English Speakers somebody representing us in Finals in Division in humorous speech competition! When she won club level I told her that she has speech that can win Area than at Area I told her that she can win Division and I believe she can also Win District. I will be there to support her and celebrate. I hope I will see some of you too. It is in Swindon not far from London.

I wish for Elena good luck a lot of support and a lot of fun along the way. Because it is at the end what matters the most.
